13 June, 2015 Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra at Chichester Cathedral ****

What could be better on a summer’s evening than to hear this superb orchestra play Dvořák, Mendelssohn, and Brahms 4 in the beautiful surroundings of Chichester’s Norman cathedral, all served up by that ebullient and exuberant Dutch maestro Jac van Steen who somehow found time from wowing them in Strauss’s Intermezzo at Garsington to make this gig. Jack Liebeck played the Mendelssohn concerto with élan and passion.

(There should be a question mark in the above article, but I can’t for the life of me work out where.)
